Green is my MOST favorite color !!
I think of new beginnings like Spring and Summer, amazing holidays (Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter), green grass, and pure happiness when I think of green.
There are so many awesome things we can do to teach our kids about the color green.
There are some delicious fruits and vegetables that are green.
Asparagus and grapes are two of my favorites.
Choose your child’s favorites and have a picnic!
Let your child choose the green items off of your grocery list and put them in the cart.
This month, we’ll be taking a look at the color green – Introducing the Color Green into Daily Activities
Provide an assortment of green vegetables cut in half (cucumbers, green peppers, green beans, celery, etc.) and allow your child to dip vegetables in green paint and make prints.

– Pick a day to wear green clothes.
– Green Sensory Bag
Pour light corn syrup into a zip-lock bag. Introducing the Color Green into Daily Activities
Add drops of blue and yellow food coloring, seal the bag, and let children move it back and forth to see the colors blend and turn green.
