Why Parents Need Aloe Vera Plants
Aloe Vera is a great houseplant.
If you can provide it with 6 to 8 hours of bright light a day (not direct sunlight), it will be very happy staying indoors.
Air Purifying
Aloe Vera plants are great for bedrooms because they induce sleep by purifying the air.
Aloe Vera plant emits oxygen at night, making for a more restful slumber.
Keep it on your bedroom windowsill as it does need sunlight.
Also, maybe in other rooms where your children may play often, such as toy rooms or living rooms.
Skin Ailments
There are a number of skin problems Aloe Vera can help heal by applying the gel on the skin.
All you need to do to get to the gel is remove a leaf with sharp scissors or a knife, remove the edge, and peel back the outside of the leaf.
You can either cut or scrape the gel out, or, as we do, rub the open leaf over the area you wish to use it.
Burns of all types – from hot surfaces or sunburns.
The aloe provides an immediate cooling effect and for healing.
Itchy skin due to insect bites.
Skin damage due to frostbite.
Athlete’s foot.
Rushes.
Blisters.
Prevent and heal acne.
It is great for oily skin.
Reverse wrinkles and treat signs of skin aging.
Treat eczema.
Reduce puffiness under the eyes.
Remove makeup.
Fight dandruff by massaging it into the scalp.
External use of aloe gel to treat minor burns, cuts, scrapes, and bruising in general, which basically describes parenthood, doesn’t it?
