Welcome to the holidays, time for Kid Friendly Christmas Crafts.
Only this year, I have a toddler trying to help.
I went searching for kid friendly Christmas crafts and this is what I found.
I found the cutest ornament on Pinterest, so I figured I would give it a shot.
While I am putting the final result on my tree, this is totally a Pinterest fail.
LOL It happens.
When you want your kids fully involved just relax and let the mess happen.
Salt Dough Santa Hand Print Ornaments:
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup flour
1/4 water (give or take)
knead until dough forms
Make impression and cut out hand shape with a knife leaving a border. Poke a hole in the top for hanging.
Bake at 200F for 3 hours.
Paint, seal and ready to hang
Then we did something fun and messy. I let him decorate some pine cones from the yard. He had fun with this.
We rolled the pine cones in white paint to look like snow and I let him decorate them with glitter glue pen.

I was just thinking about doing pine cones. Thanks for the tips!
We tried the pinecones with peanut butter and seeds, but he kept trying to eat them. It was quite the disaster, paint was less messy in the end.
