Instructions for the DIY Fortune Cookie Valentines Craft
So, first you want to download and print out the templates for the fortune cookies and the fortune that goes inside.
Next, you want to cut out the circles, fortunes and I also cut out a strip of construction paper that is about 5″ long and a little less than 1″ wide to back the fortunes.
Then, you’re going to take your glue gun or craft glue and glue the edge of the circle.
Hold your cookie with your thumb & middle finger and with your forefinger, push at the center of your cookie.
Fold.
Glue.
Add a pinch of glue inside and you are ready to hand out your Fortune Cookies Valentine’s! Yay!
I’ve included a video tutorial below for those of you that learn by watching!
I hope you enjoyed this DIY paper craft and I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
Before getting on with your project you should know that if you want to take things up a notch, you could learn how to make an origami heart for Valentine’s or any special occasion. Low-difficulty origami works great for kids as a cognitive skills enhancer. Of course, adults who caught the bug try making more and more complex forms, as once you start origami, it is hard to let go. Luckily for all of us, we have endless free resources, diagrams, guides, and images to guide us through this exciting form of art.
There are endless Valentine’s Day projects or love-themed crafts you can devote your afternoon or evening to.
It can be as simple as making DIY Fortune Cookie Valentines Day Crafts or bake some Valentine’s Cupcakes with Chocolate Hearts.
