1 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350* and lightly grease your cookie sheets.
In a large bowl cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and mix through after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl and slowly add it to the butter mixture and mix through until fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets and bake for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for five minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Store in an air tight container.
