I visited some Facebook sites that allow you to sell and buy second hand clothing.

I found something I wanted and made an attempt to buy it.

When I met the person in the parking lot I just wanted to get the item as quickly as possible and get home.

I handed the person the money, got in my car, drove home to realize the bag was full of REALLY worn kids clothing.

Not what I was expecting at all.

After this horror story I realized that I needed to find a different way to buy my kids’ used clothing.

This story brings me to my point….

How many of you moms enjoy paying full retail price for your kid’s clothing?

Yeah, I didn’t think so. That’s one of the biggest expenses of having a child is trying to keep up with clothing demands.

I’ll admit that I have paid full retail for a few pieces of clothing here or there, until I found my saving money savior. Are you ready?

A Different Way of Buying Used Children’s Clothes

If you’re new to used clothing retail, you may be wondering what this little gem of a website is.

Well, it’s a place similar to the Amazon.com buying experience (except here you are saving WAY more money).

You add the items to your cart and then you have the clothes shipped to you.

This is a great concept because #1, You save money and #2, You get to see what you’re buying right on the screen, #3. YOU actually get what you bought (not someone else’s order).

Now before I go any further, you should go check out Swap.com for yourself so you have an idea of what I’m talking about.

Are you back?

Okay—here are some reasons Swap.com outdoes anything like Craigslist.com or eBay.com.

#1. You know exactly what you’re going to pay

There are no surprises. Plus, with you actually get the items you ordered because they have real professionals looking over orders before they ship.

#2. You don’t need to worry about meeting strangers

On the street to sell stuff to you. And I mean no harm in this statement, but there are some real “strange people” out there.

You really don’t want to come face to face with someone scary just because you want to buy their 3T girls winter clothing.

Swap.com helps you to stay safe while you find a bargain for your beloved munchkins.

#3. Value is really there.

I know a lot of times I have bought stuff off of a second hand swap website, like Craigslist and eBay, and it’s not exactly what I wanted.

Often times I have bought an item for one of my babies and there was a hole that wasn’t supposed to be there.

Why would I want kids’ clothes with holes? I have plenty of those! Also don’t forget that Swap.com actually ships their items within one business day.

We’re lucky in today’s day and age to have websites like Swap.com to buy used children’s clothing from without feeling scared or ripped off.

This is truly a different way of buying used children’s clothes.

I also like that you can buy maternity clothes (for my pregnant mamas), video games, toys, and more.

Are you ready to start shopping? If you decide to try it out, let me know what you buy and how great of a bargain it was.
