The Boston Cream Brownie Parfait is the perfect dessert – both adults and kids love it. This is a semi-homemade recipe because there are so many elements. You could substitute the brownies with pre-made ones, but it would not be quite as good as homemade.
Boston Cream Brownie Parfait
Ingredients
1 Box Instant Boston Cream Pie Filling, Prepared and Chilled
1 Container Whipped Topping
For the brownies:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 medium eggs (or 1 large egg and 1 egg white)
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350
Cream together the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a medium bowl using an electric mixer.
Fold in the flour and cocoa powder. mix until smooth and fully combined.
Spread batter into a greased 8×8 pan and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Let cool completely before assembling parfaits.
To create your parfaits, layer chilled Boston cream filling, whipped topping and brownie in a sundae dish or glass.
