Top Ten FRIENDS Episodes For Moms

Top Ten FRIENDS Episodes For Mom

If you are a fan of Netflix you have no doubt know that the full series of FRIENDS became available on Netflix.

For anyone who was a teen or young adult in the 90s and the early 2000s (like me), this is likely a show that has become legendary.

In my circles anyways, scenes from FRIENDS are still quoted and laughed at on a regular basis.

As a mom in my early 30s, there are certain scenes that for one reason or another make me literally laugh out loud.

In this post I will share some of my absolute favourite moments of Ross, Rachel, Pheobe, Joey, Monica and Chandler.

The One Where Rachel Is Late

This scene will likely make you flashback to at some point during your pregnancy.

Even if you weren’t ‘late’, the last month of pregnancy feels impossible to most women.

That being said, as someone who was a week late TWICE (and had 10+ lb babies to carry inside) I can tell you, that Rachel’s feelings were accurate.

The show where Joey gets Monica’s Turkey stuck on his head

This scene is poingent for me specifically because I have 4 boys.

Joey’s childlike behaviour takes me back to many moments in my life as a mother.

Pheobe also states “Monica is gonna totally freak out’.

Replace Monica with Mom and you will replay a conversation I have heard in the other room more times that I should.

The Apartment Bet

This one is not specifically ‘mom’ funny, but is one of my personal favorites.

I love games and the writers had a brilliant idea with this one.

However, when I play men vs. women, it doesn’t usually end this way.

The One With The Baby On The Bus

Leading up to this scene, Chandler and Joey leave the baby on the bus and go to retrieve him.

This scene is classic.

I cannot tell you how frequently well-meaning friends mix up my kids.

The show Ross and Rachel argue about the Baby

This scene could easily have been filmed in my home, prior to each of our three bio son’s births.

Why can men just not agree?

The Last One

This is a classic.

I have never had twins, but I am an adoptive parent.

Luckily we didn’t go through with quite a surprise when we welcomed our son into our lives, but this scene is still very funny.

Do I Look Fat?

This episode has an incredible amount of great relationship advice from Ross and Rachel.

‘Whoa, you looked at her? You never look at her.’

Well there you have it, in no particular order, 10 of my favorite FRIENDS scenes.

I would love to hear yours in the comments below, or on our Facebook page.

Don’t forget to check out the entire series of FRIENDS on Netflix tonight.
