If you are a woman with a car, you most likely don’t have to worry too much about it since you more than likely have a parent, spouse or friend that takes care of the car for you. However, there are some things that you should have in your car at all times in order to be safe on the road.

Things Every Woman Should Have in Her Car
Umbrella
An umbrella is something that every woman needs not only in their car but also their home and work as well. These are items that are inexpensive and compact. You never know when you will encounter a torrential downpour in the car and need that umbrella handy.
Cell phone charger
A cell phone charger cord fits right into your cigarette lighter in the car. These days, your cell phone is probably your lifeline so you need to make sure that you have a way to charge it while you are on the go.
Flashlight and batteries
If your car breaks down or you get a flat tire when you are traveling at night, you will need to have a flashlight on hand. Be sure that the flashlight you have is a good-sized one and that the batteries work. It is also a good idea to have extra batteries in your car as well.
Blanket
If you happen to break down or get a flat in the middle of winter, you will be glad that you have a blanket in your car. Besides keeping you warm, a blanket may also be used to put on the ground if you need to change the flat tire.
Cold weather gear
You don’t want to be stuck out on the side of the road in the middle winter without having cold weather gear in your car. You should always keep a hat, scarf and gloves in your car just in case you need to bundle up.
Take a look at a post we wrote for our friends at Palmer Dodge Georgia about the best time of the day, week, month and year to buy a car!
Surprised that I have almost all of those things in my car (yay, me!) but the blanket also came I handy when my son threw up in the car and we didn’t have extra clothes so we wrapped him up for the ride home.
