Thin Mint Truffle Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 sleeve of Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies
2 oz of softened cream cheese
1 cup of dark chocolate morsels
Sprinkles or Candy Melt (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
- Place cookies in a food processor and process until finely chopped
- Mix the chopped cookies and cream cheese with a fork until thoroughly mixed (may need to use your hands to mix)
- Form cookie mixture into 1 inch balls and place into refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes
- Put chocolate in a microwave safe dish and heat for 30 seconds to 1 minute, stir until all chocolate is evenly melted
- With a toothpick, dunk cookie balls into melted chocolate and place on a sheet of wax paper and embellish with sprinkles
- Allow chocolate to harden and enjoy!!
