Super Easy Crockpot Chili with Recipe Card

As a mama of 5 with 3-4 kids at dinner every night and a hungry Army hubby (and occasionally 1 or 2 extra soldiers), quick and easy is ESSENTIAL !! 

I was raised in the south growing up, and it wasn’t winter without a Super Easy Crockpot Chili, soup or dumplings (and often) !!

Super Easy Crockpot Chili with Recipe Card

Nowadays, my crockpot is my lifeline. So, I adapted my mama’s Chili recipe to fit my 7 oz. crock pot and feeds us for several days.

It’s pretty quick and very easy. You can keep it warming on the low setting while you’re at work, too.

Super Easy Crockpot Chili

Cook Time:

3-4 hours in the crock pot
Yield : 6-7 oz.

Super Easy Crockpot Chili

Ingredients:

1-2 lb. of ground beef (or turkey for a healthier pot)
Chopped Onions
1 – 28 oz. can of Diced Tomatoes
1 – 28 oz. can of Tomato Sauce
2 – 15 oz. cans of Chili Beans
2 – 15 oz. cans of Dark Kidney Beans
2 – 15 oz. cans of Light Kidney Beans
2 – packets of Chili Seasoning Mix

Super Easy Crockpot Chili

Optional Toppings:

Shredded Cheese
Sour Cream
Chopped Onions
Fritos or Tostitos Scoops

Directions:

1. Combine cans & seasoning mix in crock pot and mix well. Additionally, start crock pot so that these ingredients can be warming.
2. Brown hamburger & chopped onions (for taste).
3. Drain hamburger & add to crock pot.
4. Mix well.
5. Warm in crock pot until desired temperature is reached (generally 3-4 hours).
6. Top with shredded cheese, sour cream & chopped onions. Serve with Fritos or Tostitos scoops.
