Rainbow Loom Review
Rainbow Loom allowed me to review their new kit for making super fun rubber band links. You can make bracelets, rings and MORE !! The kit is recommended for 8 years to adult. Younger kids are recommended to use with adult supervision (not for children 3 years or younger). Rainbow Loom® products meet US Toy Safety Standards and are BPA-free, Phthlates-free, Lead-free, and Chromium-free.
Testing the Rainbow Loom
I used the kit with my 5-year old son, 7-year old daughter and 12-year old daughter. My 12-year old had no trouble doing it herself but I had to help the younger two. Once they watched us do it a few times, they had no trouble.
I was really impressed. The quality is great & my 15-year old daughter will be able to use the kit also since the bands are latex free (she’s allergic to latex). Boys & girls can use it and wear the bracelets. It’s a great project to keep your kids occupied on a rainy day.
Also, I love the fact that it’s portable. We travel 20 hours every other weekend to North Carolina, back to Maryland, to North Carolina and back to Maryland again to pick up my step-daughter and then we have to return her to her mom on Sunday. So, this is great to take in the car to keep the kids busy on the long drive.
The kits are so new that new designs are being introduced all the time, which is really cool. You can go to the Rainbow Loom instructions page for designs. You can also find lots of cool tutorials on Youtube.
I highly recommend this kit !! There are tons of colors for endless pattern ideas and combinations. Replacement bands are very inexpensive & come in a wide array of colors.
