JORD Watch Review – Sully Series – Black and Maple

JORD Watch Review - Sully Series - Black and Maple

For day or night, business or pleasure. This watch does it all.

Being an insurance agent, I have to dress to the nines. The Sully – Black and Maple by JORD – compliments my suits but looks great on a bare arm on the golf course and in other normal day to day activities.

But the thing I like the best about it is simple. The Sully is a conversation starter. It helps me break the ice with prospective clients. Some agents wear funny ties or oversized belt buckles, I use the Sully.

I absolutely love the fact that it is made out of wood. I doesn’t feel like it, but it is. It is incredibly light weight. I have taken it off and let people try it on.

“It doesn’t feel like wood,” one of my colleagues told me, as another asked where she could get one for her husband.

“It just seems cooler, more fun than my gold watch,” one of my friends told me as I explained how truly “cool” it is.

There is nothing I don’t like about it. I feel like this watch floats on my arm. It feels like a part of me, an extension of my arm. No longer am I a slave to my cell phone for knowledge of the time. This is the watch that made me want to wear a watch again. I have four very nice, expensive watches in my collection including a gift from my wife on our wedding day. These have been in storage for more than a year.

But Sully hasn’t left my side apart from showers and doing the dishes. I do have to be careful to protect it, both from my toddler and water as it was designed to be splash proof but is not intended for complete submergence in water.

I truly have nothing bad to say about this watch. With its Citizen Miyota Quartz movement, it keeps great time. The clasp has, so far, withstood two toddler temper tantrums where she tried to rip it off my arm. This is a top-quality piece of craftsmanship.
