I Am A Failure

I Am A FailureI Am A Failure

The title says it all, when it comes to fashion, I am a failure as a mother. Below you will see why.

Sometimes I let my baby crawl around outside and get dirty, cause he wants to play.Sometimes I don't make him wear his glasses.Sometimes I don't brush their hair.Sometimes I wait too long before taking them for a haircut.Sometimes I let my colour-blind child dress himself.Sometimes I don't make them wear their jackets, when maybe they should. Sometimes I shop online and accidentally buy knockoffs. Sometimes they wear shirts that match their personalities. Sometimes the baby wears a sleeper in public. Sometimes their clothes are just a little too big. Sometimes their underwear shows. Sometimes my two year old dresses himself and his shoes are on the wrong feet.

Sometimes I let them crawl around outside and get dirty, cause he is too little to walk, but wants to play.

Sometimes I don’t make him wear his glasses.

Sometimes I don’t brush their hair.

Sometimes I wait too long before taking them for a haircut.

Sometimes I let my colour-blind child dress himself.

Sometimes I don’t make them wear jackets, when maybe they should.

Sometimes I shop online and accidentally buy knockoffs.

Sometimes they wear shirts that match their personality.

Sometimes the baby wears a sleeper in public.

Sometimes their clothes are just TOO BIG.

Sometimes their underwear shows – ouch.

Sometimes my two year old dresses himself and his shows end up on the wrong feet.

So this must mean I am a failure.

But most of the time I am just a Mother trying to do my best to love and nurture my children without driving them crazy trying to create perfection.

I look at them every day and I see perfection in all the little things that are unique and imperfect.

So if you are feeling like a failure because you can’t meet up to your idea of perfection then take a step back and look at how beautiful your children are and ask yourself; Are they happy and healthy?

My kids are eating nutritious food?

They learning everyday?

Are they clean? (started out clean at the beginning of the day LOL)

My guess is that you can answer yes to all of these self awareness questions and if you can’t then change it !

You are reading this because you care and love your child(ren) so you are more than half way there.
