How To Make Eyelashes Stand Out in Glasses Without Makeup

A few months ago I started wearing glasses on a full-time basis.

I want to start off by saying I love my glasses, I love wearing them and most importantly I love being able to see.

But (and I know you knew there was a but), my eyelids get oily after wearing my glasses all day and I hate wearing eye makeup.

By nighttime, my eyes are burning because all of the makeup has run into my eyes. At least that is what it feels like.

When I was approached by RapidLash to review their product for a few weeks I knew I had to say yes.

The idea that I could try out a product that could replace mascara was a no brainer.

Without mascara that would be one less ‘thing’ that could run into my eyes.

A little about RapidLash:

  • RapidLash EyeLash and Eyebrow Enhancing Serum is a clinically proven and award-winning lash and brow serum that promotes the overall health of lash and brow hair.
  • Safe, effective and an affordable formula – applied just once daily with results occurring in 4-6 weeks!
  • RapidLash contains innovative Hextein 1 Complex which is a combination of peptides, vitamins, minerals and moisturizing agents that all work in conjunction with one another to strengthen, lengthen, hydrate, nourish, protect and stimulate lash and brow hair.

I will be the first one to admit. RapidLash seems a little too good to be true. Before I started to use it I did take a before photo.

In an effort to be as consistent as possible I did wash my face before each photo and fully dried my eyelashes.

I also has the same person, my awesome husband, take the photos and they were taken within an hour of the same time of night.

Here are my results after 10 days.

My Opinion

My eyelashes look a bit darker and actually seem to be a little longer. I will continue to use RapidLash and let you know my final verdict but so far I am impressed.

The one thing I am most impressed with has nothing to do with my results so far (though they are stellar). I accidently poked myself in the eye while applying RapidLash one night. I expected it to have the chemical burn sensation like when you get mascara in your eyes (please tell me I’m not the only one). But it didn’t. It hurt – I just poked myself in my eye. But my eye did not go red and I had no lingering pain. Note: This is my experience. I am not suggesting or advocating that you should poke yourself in the eye with anything.
