I love Fall Fun Plus Educational Leaf Printables!
Even though I live in an area where winter is cold and we are stuck inside for a few months, I am so glad I get to experience fall every year.
The colors and beauty cannot be rivaled by any other season.
Fall is also a fun season to get outside and experience nature as a family.
Jumping in piles of leaves, picking apples, going on a hayride, drinking hot chocolate –the list goes on and on of fun activities that are fall-related.
One of my favorite things to do is to look at all the beautiful leaves.
Here are Fall Fun Plus Educational Leaf Printables! Activities you can do with leaves in the fall time:

Go on a walk and collect some leaves.
Look for different shapes and colors.
For younger children, you can work on their colors as you collect leaves.
For older children, you can work on identifying the leaves.
Go HERE for a great website that will help you identify trees by their leaves.
You can also explain as you walk along why trees lose their leaves before winter.
Hightlights Kids has a great kid-friendly 2 paragraph explanation of why trees have to lose their leaves in the fall.
When you get back home with the leaves, you can use this printable with your younger kids to once again go over the colors you saw.
And then count how many leaves of each color you have, and they can practice writing the numbers or they can practice using tally marks to count the leaves.
Then do some fun crafts using those leaves you collected:
Glue the leaves on another piece of paper to make a collage of leaves.
Iron leaves between wax paper — Creativebug gives great directions HERE.
Do leaf rubbings and have your older children label the leaves.
Use the printable without the lines and let the children put “leaves” on the paper using their index finger dipped in different colors of paint (or use different colors of stamp pads).
