I never heard about the increase in traffic accidents. That’s very interesting. I don’t feel like I have too hard of a time adjusting but my schedule is so wacky anyway. I’ve been lucky with my kids too but now my toddler is more consistent with his bedtime routine so I’m not looking forward to it this year.
A little push will probably be okay. A consistent bedtime is great, so hopefully your toddler will rebound in no time.
I’m thankful that we don’t have to mess with Daylight Savings Time in Arizona! It’s soo nice. And now I’m even more grateful after seeing the bit about increase in traffic accidents, etc. Thank you for sharing!
So jealous that you don’t have to deal with it. It’s totally a pain!
Great tips! We have been adjusting my son’s schedule, so I hoping for less grumpy mornings this time around.
Less grumpy = good! Best of luck with the transition.
Love the video, and thanks for the tips!
As a mom of two young toddlers…I DREAD daylight savings time. They have already begun to wake up an hour earlier (don’t know why!), so I have been trying to adjust to their schedule, which is hard because my husband is quite the night owl.
Good luck with the transition!
These are great tips. We have a baby who is like clockwork. He goes to bed at 6:30 and he tells us when we are late (even by 10 mins). He set his bed time, so adjusting will be a bit of a challenge. I don’t want him going to bed in the middle of dinner at 5:30! Thanks for the advice and it will just be a rough couple of days to adjust!
So nice to hear your little monkey has set his own schedule. Sounds like he loves his sleep! The transition is usually short lived, but be prepared for a little disruption.
