How often do you ask your kids what they did at school to hear “nothing” or “dunno”? I know I heard this from my daughter or I would hear about what other kids did and not what she did or what she learned that day. Talk about frustrating.

  2. If you could have 3 wishes, what would you pick? Why?
  3. If you could plan the perfect day, what would you want to do?
  4. What is your favorite family tradition? Why?
  5. If we could go on vacation anywhere in the world, where would you want to go? What would you want to do?
  6. What is one thing you couldn’t possibly live without?
  7. Who is your best friend? What do you like most about them?
  8. Why do you think you a good friend?
  9. Tell me what is the best surprise you’ve ever received?
  10. What do you think you are really good at doing? Show me.
  11. If you could have any job in the world, what would you pick?
  12. Tell me situation scares you the most?
  13. What is your favorite memory?
  14. Explain to me what is your favorite thing about yourself?
  15. Do you know how much I love you? How do you know?
